Chapter 5: Advanced Serverboard Setup
5-10 Onboard Indicators
LAN1/LAN2 LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located beside the VGA port) have two LEDs. On each Gigabit LAN port, one LED indicates activity when blinking while the other LED may be green, amber or off to indicate the speed of the connection. See the table on the right for the func- tions associated with the connection speed LED.
LE1
The LE1 LED located near JD1 is the power LED. LE1 illuminates when the serverboard is powered up and operating.
LE2
The LE2 LED located under SW1 is the UID indicator LED. LE2 illumi- nates when UID is initiated either by the UID button or via IPMI. If initiated a second time, LE2 will turn off.
When the LED blinks blue it means the signal was initiated via IPMI. If blue continuously it means the UID button initiated it.
