BACKUP SETUP

BACKUP SETUP

The DVR allows you to backup your recorded footage onto a separate and portable USB flash drive.

To Setup backup Recording:

1.Insert your USB flash drive into the USB port on front of the DVR.

2.Access the Main Menu by clicking Menu or move the mouse to the bottom of the screen to reveal the pop up bar.

3.Select the Main Menu icon To Setup backup Recording: .

4. In the Main Menu, select Backup set icon

Note: A USB backup drive will not work if connected to the to the USB port on the back of the DVR.

Record Time:

The start and end time is used to display the initial time and date when recording began and the final date and time

 

when the recording finished (or the latest date and time when backup Menu was accessed).

Backup Time:

The start and end time is used to choose the time frame of the video clip to be backed up onto the USB flash drive.

Backup Capacity:

This displays the size of the desired backup footage time frame. The shorter the video clip the smaller the backup

 

capacity will be in size.

USB Capacity:

Displays the maximum capacity of the USB drive.

USB Used Size:

This displays how much memory on the USB drive is currently in use.

Left Ratio:

This is the amount of memory that is currently available to be used for backup.

To Backup Saved Video Footage:

1.Press ENTER or click To Backup Saved Video Footage: to setup the USB backup recording settings.

From this Menu you can choose the start and end time for the USB backup. This will transfer existing video footage in the backup time frame onto the USB drive.
