Many problems have a simple cause and a
correspondingly simple solution. The following sect | ion |

Notesontheremotecontrolsystem
Changingtheremotecontroladdress:

Cause1: | Mainsleadnotpluggedincorrectly. |

Remedy: | Check connection, push connector in | |
| firmly. |

Cause2: | Mains switch on the back panel (in the | |
| mainssocket)notswitchedon. |
|
|

Remedy: | Switchthemainsswitchon. |
|

Cause3: | Mainsfuseburnedout. |

Remedy: | Have the mains fuse in the mains input | |
| socket replaced by an authorised | |
| specialist workshop. The rating of the | |
| replacement fuse must agree with the | |
| specificationprintedontheunit. |

| |
Problem: | The unit does not respond to | |
| commands. |
|
|
| |
Cause: | Static discharge or powerful interference | |
| (e.g. lightning) have corrupted the | |
| processormemory. |

Remedy: | Disconnect mains plug, wait about | |
| 1minute and reconnect. Switch unit on | |
| again. |
|

Cause1: | Incorrectly inserted batteries or flat | |

| the remote control transmitter (handset). | |
| Note that glass doors can cause | |
| problems, and should be avoided. | |
| Maximumrangebetweentransmitterand | |

| Positionthe P10insuchawaythatitis | |
| notsubjectedtodirectsunlight orstrong | |
| artificiallighting. Fluorescentandenergy | |
| saving lamps are powerful sources of | |
| interference. |
