(3) How to Record the Sine Wave Tone on Tape
l The built-in oscillator must be switched on at the
“0 5 l” mm”.
1 Press the REC FUNCTION switch of the track you
want to record on. The associated LED will start
blinking.
2 To begin recording the sine wave tone from the oscil-
lator, hold RECORD and press PLAY. The RECORD
button will light solidly, and also the REC FUNC-
TION LED that was blinking.
3 To stop recording, press STOP.
0 To switch the built-in oscillator off, press either the A
or the V key to change the “0 n ” display to “0 f F ” at
the 9 5 II ” menu.

Follow these steps to initialize or reset the backup
IWerIIory.
34$5 h 1 Press SHIFT and the associated LED will suut blink-
ing to show that all the double function keys are
switched to offer their lower blue-labelled functions.
2 Press MENU as many times as necessary to change
the display to look like this :
3 Press either the A or the V key and the display will
change to look like this:
4 Press either the A or the y key once more. The
initialization process will start, and when it is
complete, the display will change to look like this:
5 Press SHIFT and the associated LED will turn off, the
display being switched back to show the ABS time.
