Troubleshooting

In case of trouble with the unit, please take the time to look through this chart and see if you can solve the problem yourself before you call your dealer or TEAC service center.

No power

eCheck the connection to the AC wall outlet.

No sound.

eCheck the connection to the stereo system.

The sound is noisy.

eThe unit is too close to a TV set or similar appliances. Install the unit away from them, or turn them off.

Remote control doesn't work.

eIf the batteries are dead, change the batteries.

eUse remote control unit within the range (5m/15ft) and point at the front panel.

eClear obstacles between the remote control unit and the main unit.

eIf a strong light is near the unit, turn it off.

Cannot play.

eLoad a disc with label side up.

eIf the disc is dirty, clean the surface of the disc.

eA blank disc has been loaded. Load a prerecorded disc.

eUnfinalized CD-R/CD-RW disc is not playable. Finalize the disc properly.

Sound skips.

ePlace the unit on a stable place to avoid vibration and shock.

eIf the disc is dirty, clean the surface of the disc.

eDon't use scratched, damaged or warped discs.

If normal operation cannot be recovered, unplug the power cord from the outlet and plug it again.

Pas d'alimentation

eVérifier le raccordement de l'appareil à la prise CA.

Aucun son ne sort des enceintes.

eVérifier le raccordement à la chaîne stéréo.

Le son est déformé.

eL'appareil est placé à proximité d'un téléviseur ou d'un autre appareil de même type. Eloignez l'appareil de ceux-ci ou débranchez les.

La télécommande ne fonctionne pas. eSi les piles sont usées, changez les. eUtilisez la télécommande à une

distance d'environ 5 m (15 ft) de l'appareil et la diriger vers le panneau avant de celui-ci.

eDégagez les obstacles qui se trouvent entre la télécommande et l'unité principale

eSi un éclairage puissant se trouve à proximité de l'appareil, éteignez-le.

L'appareil ne lit pas le disque

ePlacer le disque dans le tiroir en veillant à ce que l'étiquette se trouve vers le haut.

eSi le disque est sale, nettoyer la surface du disque.

eVous avez chargé un disque vierge dans l'appareil. Chargez un disque pré-enregistré

eUn CD-R/CD-RW non finalise ne peut pas etre lu. Veuillez finaliser le disque.

Le son saute.

eMettre l'appareil sur une surface plane de manière à éviter toute vibration ou choc.

eSi le disque est sale, nettoyer la surface du disque.

eNe pas utiliser de disque rayé, abîmé ou voilé.

Si vous ne parvenez pas à rétablir un fonctionnement normal, débrancher le cordon d'alimentation et le rebrancher.
