Push-inprobe tip
Push-in probe tip. Use the push-inprobe tip for
general purposeprobing by hand.
The push-inprobe tip may also be used with the
other socketedleads and adapters.

Installing the push-in probe tip. Attach the
push-inprobe tip by aligning the tip into the probe
tip socketand pushing the tip in until it is seated.
Either end of the tipmay be used.
Do not force the tip. Also,be careful not to poke
yourselfwith the sharp probe tip. To remove the
tip, gentlygrab the tip with small pliers, and pull
the tip out.
Pogopin
Low-inductance ground pogo pin.Usethe
low-inductanceground pogo pin to substantially
reduce ground leadinductance. Because the
pogo pin onlytouches the ground reference, you
can easilymove the probe to different points on
the circuitunder test.
Toattach, press the pogo pin into the probe head
ground socket.
Tomaintain signal fidelity while probing, useas
short a ground path aspossible. Refer to page 21
for more groundinginformation.
