Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’évacuation doit s’effectuer directement vers l’extérieur (pas dans un grenier, sous la maison, dans le garage ou dans tout autre endroit dans le bâtiment). Utiliser les conduits les plus droits et les plus courts possible.

Les courbures de conduits (coudes et raccords) réduisent le flux d’évacuation d’air.

La superposition de coudes et les profils en « S » diminuent fortement les performances de l’appareil et ne sont pas recommandés.

Un court morceau de tuyau placé directement à la sortie de la hotte donne les meilleurs résultats.

Le raccord entre le conduit et le corps de la hotte et les autres raccords doivent être le plus droits possibles. Utiliser par ordre de préférence:

Premièrement un conduit circulaire de 10" Deuxièmement un conduit circulaire de 8" Troisièmement un conduit rectangulaire de 3 ¼» x 14" Quatrièmement un conduit circulaire de 7" Cinquièmement un conduit rectangulaire de 3 ¼» x 10"

Sixièmement un conduit circulaire de 6"

Les tubes circulaires flexibles ne doivent être utilisés que si aucun autre système de conduits n’est possible. Limiter l’utilisation à de courts tronçons et être attentif à ne pas écraser le flexible lors des courbures.
