Troubleshooting Procedures
Procedure 2 Connector Check and Replacement Check
The connection of cables, boards and module may be defective. Otherwise, they may be faulty.
Disassemble the computer following the steps described in Chapter 4 and perform the
following checks:
Check 1 Make sure the HDMI TV is firmly connected to CN5350 on the system board.
If any of the connections are loose, reconnect firmly and repeat Procedure 1. If
there is still an error, go to Check 2.
Check 2 It checks whether there are any abnormalities in a setup of HDMI TV, and returns
to Procedure 1. In addition, a HDMI setup of television should check "the
instructions manual of attachment on HDMI TV." If the problem still exists,
perform Check 3.
Check 3 The HDMI TV cable may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following the
instructions in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. If the problem still exists,
perform Check 4.
Check 4 The HDMI TV may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following the
instructions in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures and check the operation. If the
problem still exists, perform Check 5.
Check 5 The system board may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following the
instructions in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures.
