13.5 Profinet IO

•Up to 8 command registers can be sent to the drive, and up to 32 status registers can be retrieved from the drive.

•A total of 84 modules are available for selection by the controller. Refer to the GSDML file for specific module information.

•No explicit module selection is required on the interface card: the module will be selected automatically according to the controller’s configuration.

•The Profinet IO driver does not trigger timeout events (section 10.7.4).
