You can play MP3/WMA fi les that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on the DVD video player.

Preparations

Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this DVD video player.

1Place a CD that contains MP3/WMA files on the disc tray.

2Press OPEN/CLOSE to load the disc.

OPEN/CLOSE Playback starts.

3To stop playback, press STOP.

Press PAUSE/STEP during playback.

Selecting a track (file) in the disc

1 Press// to select the column of MP3/WMA fi le. Press / /to select the MP3/WMA fi le on a list of column.

2Press ENTER or PLAY to play the MP3/WMA fi le.

Press or during playback to skip the tracks.

3 Press number buttons 1-10 to select the track which you want, the DVD video player will play the selected track. If the track number is bigger than 10, press +10 fi rst, then next number.

Notes

You can select a track by designating a track number.

Press the T button, and input the number you want to play, press ENTER.

Letters of a fi le/folder name overfl owing the given space will not be displayed.

You cannot play in Fast reverse or Fast forward during MP3/WMA playback.

Notes

Some discs may not permit this operations

WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played.

The BITSTREAM/PCM jack outputs MP3/WMA sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the current "Digital Output" selection. 42

If you stop playback by pressing STOP button, and then press the PLAY button, playback will start from the beginning of the track.

The SKIP and PLAY MODE functions are also available.
