6 Install the new lamp.

Insert the new lamp into position and lock it into place with the three lamp locking screws.

7Replace the lamp cover.

Align the cover, and press it in, then tighten the screws loosened in step 4 until the lamp cover is no longer loose.

8Reset the lamp timer.

Reset the lamp timer by using “lamp timer reset” in Setup menu. p.46

Notes and Precautions

The Lamp time item in the Status display menu indicates the “estimated” time of lamp use. p.47

Attach the lamp cover so that it is not loose. If it is not attached correctly, the projector and/or lamp may not work correctly.

When replacing the lamp, always use a new lamp.

The lamp is made out of glass and is fragile. Do not touch the lamp your bare fi ngers. Handle the lamp with a wrap or gloves. Do not drop or shake the lamp. Doing so may cause damage to the lamp.

Lamp Environmental Safety

This projector’s lamp contains trace amounts of environmentally harmful inorganic mercury.

Be careful not to break new or used lamps. Dispose of used lamps in accordance with lo- cal regulations.
