Connect the VARIABLE AUDIO OUTPUT jacks to the external input jacks on the stereo amplifier. You can control the audio equipment using the Remote Control for this TV.

The "Fixed level" audio output from the VIDEO/AUDIO OUTPUT jacks is also available for connecting an audio cassette recorder (or amplifier) to record audio from the TV. This constant audio signal is not affected by pressing the VOLUME controls on the TV or the Remote Control.

To disconnect the built-in speakers

4 Press-/÷ until "SPEAKERS OFF" is displayed in magenta. The built-

in speakers will be	SPEAKERS	ON

To use the built-in speakers again

Select "SPEAKERS ON" in step 4 above.

Note:

Make sure the volume control of your stereo amplifier is

set to a moderate listening level.
