El convertidor/cargador de ondas sinusoidales de Tripp Lite es una unidad de carga de gran potencia que genera una onda sinusoidal pura a partir de un módulo de baterías de 12V. Puede suministrar energía a gran variedad de equipos conectados: desde radiadores, aparatos de aire acondicionado, refrigeradores y aspiradoras a ordenadores y dispositivos periféricos. Está diseñado para trabajar en condiciones de carga pesada, de manera que no es necesaria una disminución de potencia.

El cargador inteligente es compatible con varios tipos y tamaños de baterías. El módulo del conmutador desvía automáticamente la trayectoria de transferencia de energía entre el convertidor y una entrada de CA. Cuando la fuente de CA es menor que el nivel transferido, la trayectoria pasa al convertidor. De otro modo, la carga se alimenta por medio de la entrada de CA.

El tiempo de transferencia es 10 milisegundos.
