8 – Comunicaciones

Nota: Estas conexiones son opcionales. El sistema de UPS funcionará sin estas conexiones.

8-1 Tarjeta de red

El sistema de UPS incluye una tarjeta de red interna que proporciona una interfaz Ethernet para monitoreo y control remotos del sistema de UPS. Para obtener información adicional, consulte la documentación de la tarjeta de red. Nota: Para utilizar el puerto RS-232 del sistema de UPS debe quitar la tarjeta de red.

8-2 Conexión EPO

Si se producen cortocircuitos en las terminales EPO, se activa la función EPO (apagado de emergencia), que proporciona el apagado de emergencia del sistema de UPS.

8-3 Comunicaciones seriales RS-232

Nota: Para utilizar el puerto RS-232 del sistema de UPS debe quitar la tarjeta de red.

Utilice el cable serial RS-232 (DB9) incluido para conectar el puerto serial RS-232 del sistema de UPS a un puerto serial RS-232 de una computadora. Para monitorear y controlar el sistema de UPS, instale en la computadora el software incluido.
