Make a call

1.Press end . The symbol is displayed. When you hear the dial tone, dial the number you want. The number is shown in the display. After a short delay the call timer will start timing the call.

Adjust the earpiece/receiver volume during a call

1 Press cid or to adjust the volume. There are five levels.

Preparatory dialling (pre-dial)

1In standby mode, enter the number to be dialed. The number is displayed.

You can enter numbers up to 32 digits long. Press clear to delete any incorrect digits. Press and hold clear to delete all digits.

2 Press

end

to dial the displayed number.

 

 

Handset range

Up to 300 metres outdoors and up to 50 metres indoors (in ideal conditions).

If the handset is too far away from the base, during standby, Searching appears and the symbol will flash. During a call you will hear a warning tone.

You will need to mover closer to the base for clearer reception and to avoid being disconnected.

Call timer

When you make or receive a call, a short while after the line is connected the call timer will show the duration of the call in the display in hours, minutes and seconds.
