Operation
Parental Control: To block the display of television programs or movies based on their ratings, select Parental Control from the Setup menu and press ENTER. Enter the default Personal Identification Number (PIN) – 0000 – and press ENTER again.
•Parental Lock: This is the “master switch” for the parental controls. Set it to On on Off.
•TV Rating: Select TV Rating from the Parental Control menu to block television programs carrying a given rating, to prevent children from watching programs that are deemed inappropriate. These ratings and content labels have been established by the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to help parents and other caregivers determine if a program is suitable for young viewers.

•Movie Rating: Select Movie Rating from the Parental Control menu to block movies carrying a given rating, to prevent children from watching movies that are deemed inappropriate. These ratings have been established by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) to help parents and other caregivers determine if a movie is suitable for young viewers.
To block movies carrying a given rating, press the
code to be entered to view a movie with that rating. A lock icon () appears to indicate that the restriction is active.
