If it is the first acce ss t o “Conn ection type” page in Win dows, the web browser will as k
to install a new plug-in that is provided by Network Camera. This plug-in has been
registered fo r certi fi cat e and i s us ed t o chang e t he pa ram et ers at t he cl ient side. U se rs

There a re two setting s for the c lient side . One is “Me di a O pt ion ” for users to
determine if the audio should be mut ed. The oth er is “P r ot o col O pt i on ” t o choo se t he
connection protocol between client and server. There are three protocols to optimize
your usage - UDP, TCP and HTTP. Wit h U DP p rotocol, audio and video strea ms can be
more real-time . But so me packe ts may be lost due to netwo rk burs t traffi c and ima ges
will be obscure. If TCP pro tocol is selected, packet loss would not oc cur and video
