Tune the best performance
The best performance means the image refresh rate should be the fastest as possible
and the video quality should be the best as possible at the lowest network bandwidth
as possible. Three factors, “Max imum fram e rate”, “F ix bit rate”, a nd “F ix
quality” in the Video configuration page , are corre lative to the perfo rmance.
My priority is real- time m otioned images
To achieve the real-time visual effect, the network bandwidth should be large enough
to transmi t 20 image frames or more. If you ar e in t he b ro adband netw o rk ov er 1 M bp s,
you can fix the bit rate to 1000Kbps or 1200Kbps, or fix the quality to achieve the
maximum frames. The maximum frame rate is 25 in 50Hz sys tem and 30 in 60Hz
system. If your network bandwidth is more than 384Kbps, you can fix the bit rate
accord ing to your ba ndwidth a nd set the max imum frame rate to 25 or 30. If the
images vary dramatically in your environment, you may slow down the maximum
frame r ate to 20 to d ecre ase the tr ansmitted data for better v ideo qua lity sinc e human
could not easily tell t h e di fference bet w een 2 0 and 25 or 3 0 frames pe r s ec ond . If y our
