position. The image settings and white balance can be fine tuned to achieve the best
visual effect. Also notice the power line frequency must match the local utility to
synchronize the flor escent lights to eliminate the uncomf o rtable flashing.
Q Why does the image not refresh regularly?
A Some a nti-virus programs will provide functions to filter the received web content. It
will take time to perform the data examination and affect the streaming application
such as Networ k Came ra. How e ve r it only affe ct s t he H TP mod e of N etwork Camera. If
the netw ork allows th e HTTP mo de on ly, disable the web f ilter ing fu nction o f the
anti-v irus program temporaril y. During the per iod, users s hould take the risk of
malic i ous ne twork a ctivi ty.
Q I hav e opened motion de tec tion windows but it cannot work.
A I f the motio n detectio n windows are setup a nd names ar e given , check if th e function
is checked at the first line. While it is enabled, adjust the sensitivity and percentage to
monito r the le vel in dicato r if the thresh old is a ppro priate .
Q I canno t hea r any sound while wa tching.
A If there is "V_ONLY" shown above the image, click on connection type to uncheck
"Disable audio". If there is "V" shown instead of "AV", the sound card in your PC may
not properly installed. If "AV" is shown, check the audio source of Net work Camera.
