3.2.3 Adding or Deleting (Skipping) TV Channels

To select a TV channel to be skipped when ‘channel surfing’ with the CH + / - buttons, or to be added to these feature, follow this procedure.

1.Using the TV button on the remote, select TV.

2.Select the channel directly by using the Number Buttons on the remote and then press the OK button.

3.Follow steps 1 ~ 3 in the previous section 3.2.2 to select the TV Setup menu.

4.Once selected, press the button to highlight Channel Skip. Press the OK button and then press the or button to Add or Delete the channel.

5.Press the button when finished.

3.3 Using DTV with an Antenna or Cable

3.3.1 First Time DTV Use

If an antenna or cable source is connected to the DTV/TV input, you will need to select DTV using the INPUT button on the remote control or the side of the Plasma HDTV, or directly by pressing the TV button on the remote control. The first time you use your DTV input you will see the information panel, “Channel Scan Required Press Menu”.

3.3.2 Setting DTV Channels Automatically

1.Press the MENU button on the remote control to open the OSD menu. The Video Settings Menu will be displayed.

2.Press the button on the remote control three times to highlight the Tuner Settings menu.

Note: DTV digital broadcast is not available in all areas. Refer to www.antennaweb.org to get information about availability in your area, type of antenna and in which direction to point your antenna. The channel availability through cable depends upon which channels your cable operator supplies in Clear QAM; consult your cable operator for more information.
