8 SELECT ANNOUNCEMENT
Press 8 to toggle between available announcements.
*After each press, you hear
"Announcement1", "Announcement2': or "Outgoingmessage ".
The first time the key is pressed, the voice prompt will indicate the current selection.
9RECORD ANNOUNCEMENT *Press 9 to record a new
announcement.
*You will hear "Record announcement X after tone, press 4 to end recording", where X is either 1or2, dependingonthe current announcement selection.
If your current selection is Outgoing Message, you will hear "Cannot record outgoing message".
Press 4 to complete announcement recording.
0RECORD MEMO
Press 0 to record a new memo to the currently selected mailbox. If the current mailbox selection is All Mailboxes, then the message is recorded into the Generic mailbox.
You will hear either "Recordmemo for mailbox X after tone, press 4 to end recording", where X is
"Recordmemo forgeneric mailbox after tone, press 4 to end recording".
If you have set the ITAD for zero mailboxes, you will hear "Record memo after tone, press 4 to end recording".
Press 4 to STOP recording
You can press 3 (skip) to bypass the voice prompt,andyouill hearthe beep to start recording.
#OFF
Press # to switch the ITAD off.
You will hear "Answeringmachine off ".
Now the ITADwill only be reactivated to answeran incomingcall if the caller lets it ring 10 times.

Remember that electrical appliances can cause serious injury if used when you arewet or standinginwater. Ifyour base unit should fall into water, DO
NOT RETRIEVE IT UNTIL YOU UNPLUG THE POWER CORD AND TELEPHONE LINE CORDS FROM THE WALL. Then pull the unit out by the unplugged cords.
Electrical storms
Electricalstormscan sometimescause power surges harmful to electronic equipment.
For your own safety, use caution when usingelectricappliancesduringstorms.
Cleaning your telephone
Your telephone has a durable plastic casing that should retain its luster for many years. Clean it only with a soft cloth slightly dampenedwith water or a mild soap. Do not use excess water or cleaning solvents of any kind.
