Problem Suggestion
The messages on
the system are very
difcult to hear.
Press VOL+ on the telephone base to increase the sp eaker volume.•
My cordless handset
beeps and is not
performing normally.
Make sure the power cord is securel y plugged into the telephone bas e. Plug the unit into a
different working electrical ou tlet not controlled by a wall switch.
Move the handset closer to the telephone bas e. It may be out of range.
Reset the telephone base by unplugging the unit’s ele ctrical p ower. Wait for 15 seconds
and plug it back in ag ain. Allow up to one minute for the handset and the telephone b ase to
synchronize.
Other electronic products can cause interfe rence to your cordless tele phone. Try install ing
your telephone as far away from these electronic devices as possible: wireless routers, radios,
radio towers, pager towers, cellular telephones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal
computers, kitchen appliances an d other cordless telephones.

Common cure for
electronic equipment
If the unit is not responding normall y, try putting the handset in the tel ephone base. If it does
not respond, try the following (in the or der listed):
Disconnect the power to the telephone ba se.
Disconnect the battery on the han dset.
Wait a few minutes before connecting the power to the tel ephone base.
Re-install the battery and plac e the handset into the telephone base.
Wait for the handset to synchr onize with the telephone base. Allow up to one mi nute for this
to take place.
