My caller ID isn’t
working
• Caller ID is a subscription service You must subscri be to this service for this fe ature to work
on your phone
• Your caller must be calling from a n area that supports caller ID
• Both you and your caller ’s telephone companies must use caller I D compatible equipment
My answering
machine is not
recording messages
• Make sure system is turned O N (the ANS ON/OFF key is illuminated)
• Make sure the announce o nly feature is set to OFF
I cannot hear recorded
messages
• Using the telephone b ase volume control, raise the volume to a c omfortable listening level

Common cure for
electronic equipment
If the unit does not seem to be responding normally, then try putting the handset in its telephone
base If it does not seem to respond, do the foll owing (in the order listed):
1 D isconnect the power to the telepho ne base
2 D isconnect the handset batter y, and spare battery, if applicable
3 Wait a few m inutes
4 C onnect power to the telephone base
5 R e-install the battery(ies)
6 Wait for the handset to re -establish its lin k with the telephone base To be safe, allow up to
one minute for this to take place
