Problem Suggestion
My phone doesn’t
work at all
• Make sure the power cord is p lugged in
• Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged rmly into the telephone base and the telephone
wall jack
• Disconnect th e AC adapter for a few minutes, and then reconnec t it
• Charge th e battery in the handset for 16 hours For optimum daily performanc e, return the
handset to its telephone base when not in use
• Reset the telephone base Unplu g the unit’s electrical power Wait for 15 seconds then plug it
back in Allow up to one minute for the handset and tel ephone base to reset
• You may need to purchase a new battery, please refer to the bat tery sections in this user’s
manual
I cannot get a dial
tone
• Try all the suggestions ab ove
• Move the handset clos er to the telephone base You might have moved out of range
• Your line cord might be malfunc tioning Try installing a new line cord
• If the previous suggestions don’t work, disconnect the telephone base from the telephone jack
and connect a different p hone If there is no dial tone on that phone eith er, the problem is in
your wiring or local service Contac t your local telephone company
