Rear panel

1REMOTE IN/OUT jacks

Used to send and receive remote control signals (see page 13).

2GND terminal

Used to connect a turntable (see page 10).

3TAPE jacks

Used to connect a tape deck (see page 10).

4Antenna terminals

Used to connect FM and AM antennas (see page 12).

5DOCK jack

Used to connect an optional Yamaha Universal Dock for iPod (such as the YDS-12), Wireless System for iPod (YID-W10), or Bluetooth Wireless Audio Receiver (YBA-10) (see page 24).

6Power cable

For connecting this unit to an AC wall outlet (see page 13).

7PHONO jacks

Used to connect a turntable (see page 10).

8CD jacks

Used to connect a CD player (see page 10).

9LINE 1-2 jacks

Used to connect audio components (see page 10).

0SUBWOOFER OUT jack

CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS

INTRODUCTION

APOWER MANAGEMENT switch

Used to enable or disable the automatic power down function. When this function is enabled, this unit automatically enters standby mode if it is not operated for a certain amount of time (3 settings are available; see page 31).

BSPEAKERS terminals

Used to connect speakers (see page 10).

CIMPEDANCE SELECTOR switch

Used to select the impedance setting (see page 11).
