7.Allow the engine to warm up for a several minutes before starting operation.

NOTE

1.When restarting the engine immediately after stopping it, leave the choke open.

2.Overchoking can make the engine hard to start due to excess fuel. When the engine failed to start after several attempts, open the choke and repeat pulling the rope, or remove the spark plug and dry it.

6.Ramener le levier du starter vers le bas pour le remettre en position ouverte. Et redémarrer le moteur (OP2).

7.Laisser le moteur chauffer pendant plusieurs minutes avant de commencer à travailler.

REMARQUE

1.Pour redémarrer le moteur aussitôt après l’avoir arrêté, laisser le starter en position ouverte.

2.Trop tirer sur le starter risque de rendre le moteur difficile à démarrer à cause de l’excès de carburant. Si le moteur refuse de démarrer après plusieurs tentatives infructueuses, placer le starter en position ouverte et tirer à nouveau plusieurs fois la corde de démarrage ou enlever et sécher la bougie.

STOPPING ENGINE

OP5

1.Release the throttle lever and run the engine for a half minute.

2.Shift the ignition switch to the “O (STOP)” position. (OP3)

IMPORTANT

Except for an emergency, avoid stopping the engine while pulling the throttle lever.

ADJUSTING IDLING SPEED (OP5)

1.When the engine tends stop frequently at idling mode, turn the adjusting screw clockwise.

2.When the cutting head keeps rotating after releasing the trigger, turn the adjusting screw counter-clockwise.

NOTE

Warm up the engine before adjusting the idling speed.

WARNING

1.Always wear eye protection such as safety goggles. Never lean over the rotating cutting head. Rocks or other debris could be thrown into eyes and face and cause serious personal injury.

2.Keep the debris guard attached in place at all times when the unit is operated.

1.Relâcher la manette d’accélérateur et laisser tourner le moteur pendant encore 30 secondes.

2.Placer le bouton de contact sur “(Arrêt) O”. (OP3)

IMPORTANT

Sauf en cas d’urgence, ne jamais couper le contact lorsqu’on accélére.

REGLAGE DU RALENTI (OP5)

1.Lorsque le moteur a tendance à s’arrêter souvent au ralenti, tourner la vis dans le sens horaire.

2.Si la tête de coupe continue de tourner au ralenti après avoir relâché la manette d’accélérateur, tourner la vis dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre.

REMARQUE

Laisser chauffer le moteur avant d’effectuer le réglage du ralenti.

AVERTISSEMENT

1.Toujours se protéger les yeux en portant des lunettes de sécurité. Ne jamais se pencher vers la tête de coupe. Des pierres ou autres débris risquent d’être projetés au visage et dans les yeux et causer de sérieuses blessures.
