12.4.3 WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK

Click Network > Wireless LAN to display the General screen. Select WPA-PSKor WPA2-PSKfrom the Security Mode list.

WPA-PSK

This field appears when you choose WPA-PSK2as the Security Mode.
Compatible

Check this field to allow wireless devices using WPA-PSKsecurity mode to connect to your

 

 

Router.

 

 

Pre-Shared Key

WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSKuses a simple common password for authentication.

 

Type a pre-shared key from 8 to 63 case-sensitive keyboard characters.

 

 

Group Key

The Group Key Update Timer is the rate at which the AP sends a new group key out to all

Update Timerclients.

 

 

Apply

Click Apply to save your changes back to the Router.

 

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to reload the previous configuration for this screen.

12.5 MAC Filter

The MAC filter screen allows you to configure the Router to give exclusive access to devices (Allow) or exclude devices from accessing the Router (Deny). Every Ethernet device has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address. The MAC address is assigned at the factory and consists of six
