2Check the hardware connections. See the Quick Start Guide and Section 1.3 on page 18.

3Inspect your cables for damage. Contact the vendor to replace any damaged cables.

4Turn the STB off and on.

5If the problem persists, contact the vendor.

I cannot operate the STB using the remote control.

1See your Quick Start Guide for instructions on using the remote control.

2If the REMOTE ( ) LED does not blink when you press a remote control button, the remote control’s batteries may be improperly inserted or dead. Check they are properly inserted, or try replacing them.

3Move closer to the STB and try again.

4If the problem persists, contact your vendor.

3.2STB Access and Login

I forgot the IP address for the STB.

The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. Use the System Setup menu to check the current IP address (see Section 2.2.4 on page 24).

I forgot the password for the Advanced menus.

1The default password is 123456.

I cannot see or access the Login menu.

1Make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See the Quick Start Guide and Section 1.2 on page 18.

2If the problem continues, contact the vendor.
