Setting

Picture in Picture

This function is used to project two videos simultaneously

by placing a separate small sub screen within the main screen.

Use the Point ed buttons to move the red frame pointer to Picture in Picture and then press the SELECT button to display a dialog box. Use the Point 7 8 buttons to adjust the setting mode.

Mode ............Off

P in P: Provide the images of Sub picture piling up to Main picture.

P by P: Provide the images of Main picture and Sub picture side by side at the same size.

Sub picture.... Size: Select the display size. (Middle/ Large/

.Small) Position: Select the Subpicture position.

(right bottom end/ right top end/ left top end/ left bottom end )

Select the Subpicture input at the Picture in Picture or Picture by Picture mode :

Press the SELECT button, Sub picture is selected and the Subpicture frame is indicated in red. Press the intended INPUT button within 4 seconds and Input of Sub picture is switched. Press the SELECT button again and Main display is selected. Red frame of Sub picture will disappear. Press the intended INPUT button and Input of Main picture is switched when Main picture is selected.

Button operation at the PIP mode on the remote control and top control :

In Picture in Picture mode, press the SELECT button to select the sub picture and Point ed7 8buttons operate as follows.

e: Replace the Main picture and Sub picture. d : Change the Subpicture size.

7: Change the Subpicture position (counterclockwise)

8: Change the Subpicture position (clockwise)

SELECT : Select the Sub picture or Main picture.

Background

The selected background screen will be displayed when no input signal is detected.

Blue

Project a blue background

User

Project an image selected in the Logo setting.

Black

Project a black background

Note:

When no captured image is set, the “User” options is not available.

Note:

The Picture in Picture function is not available depending on the input signals and the selected input terminals. Refer to ‘List of Picture in Picture‘ for details. (p.82)

When the input signal(s) is/are incompatible, X mark will be displayed on the Main/Sub picture.

While the Main and Sub pictures are being displayed, System, Image select, Image adj. and Screen menus (except for ‘Keystone’, ‘Ceiling’ and ‘Rear’) are inoperative.

Only the sound on the Main picture is heard, the sound on the Sub picture cannot be heard (In P in P, the big picture is main picture, and the small one is Sub picture ; in P by P, the left picture is Main picture, and the right one is Sub picture.)
