Serial/LocalTalk Card

The Serial/LocalTalk option lets you connect your DocuPrint

P1202 to a PC or Macintosh serial interface, or to a Macintosh

LocalTalk network.

To use the serial connection, a standard 9-pin serial cable is required. One end has a 9-pin female connector and the other end has a 9-pin male connector. Do not use a null-modem cable, which is a twisted pair cable.

Review the precautions on page B-3 and then follow this procedure to install the Serial/LocalTalk option in your computer.

Turn the printer power off and disconnect the power cord.

Remove the control board cover.
