Operational Safety

The Xerox DocuPrint P1202 and its supplies were designed and tested to meet strict safety requirements. These include safety agency examination, approval, and compliance with established environmental standards.

To ensure the continued safe operation of your Xerox DocuPrint

P1202, follow these safety guidelines at all times.

Follow warnings and instructions marked on or supplied with the equipment.

Do not locate the Xerox DocuPrint P1202 near a radiator or any other heat source.

Do not attempt any maintenance function that is not specifically described in the Xerox DocuPrint P1202 documentation.

Use materials and supplies specifically designed for your Xerox DocuPrint P1202. The use of unsuitable materials may result in poor performance and possibly a hazardous situation.

Do not remove the covers or guards that are fastened with screws.

Do not operate the Xerox DocuPrint P1202 if you notice unusual noises or odors. Disconnect the power cord from the power source receptacle, and contact your Xerox Service Representative immediately.
