| Other usage will invalidate the approval of | this adapter card if as a | ||||||||||||
| result it ceases to comply with safety requirements. The power | |||||||||||||
| requirements | for | the | adapter | are | in | “Specifications” | on | page  | |||||
| To maintain the independent approval | of | this | adapter, | it | is | essential | |||||||
| that other optional cards, not supplied by | IBM, do not use mains | ||||||||||||
| voltages | or | any | other | excessive voltages. An | excessive | voltage is | |||||||
| one that exceeds 42.4V peak ac | or 60V dc. If you | have | any doubt, | ||||||||||
| seek advice from a competent engineer before installing other | |||||||||||||
| adapters | into the Host | apparatus. |
