When a display that does not support the power save mode is used, open to "Power Management Properties" and set "Never" for both "System Standby" and "Turn off Monitor Power."
Windows 2000 model
When a display that does not support the power save mode is used,open to "Power Options Properties" and set "Never" for both "System Standby" and "Turn off monotor".

Start the PC with Windows NT Workstation Version 4.00 [VGA mode].
Turn off the power, then replace the display.

3 Set the resolution, the number of colors, and the refresh rate in accordance with the display specifications, then restart the PC.
Windows NT4.0 model
Reinstall the display driver.

Windows 98/2000
1 Set the resolution to 640 x 480 (before replacement of the display).
2 Set the refresh rate to the "adapter default."
3 Terminate Windows and turn off the PC power, then replace the display.
If there is no screen display or no display at some resolutoion after the display is replaced without performing the above setting, reinstall the display driver as follows:
1 Start Windows in Safe Mode.
2 Set the graphic adapter to "Standard Display Adapter (VGA)" or "Standard VGA" and restart Windows.

•The OSs that support USB are Windows 98/2000.
•When USB equipment is connected, Windows may not be terminated normally depending on the type od USB equipment. If this is the case, disconnect the USB equipment and terminate Windows.
