The following dialog box appears.

For Windows 98

3 Check that "Shut down the computer?" has been selected and then click [OK].

The power is turned off automatically.

If "APM Power Controls" on the BIOS setup menu is set to "Disabled," the message "The computer is ready for shut down" is displayed. Since power is not automatically turned off, press the Power

button to turn off the power. (

3 Check that "Shut down the computer?" has been selected and then click [Yes].
