1 Introduction

The PRIMERGY BX960 S1 server blade is an Intel-based quad-socket server blade. It is ideal for use in data centers belonging to enterprises or Internet service providers, and makes an excellent large application server, terminal server for compute-intensive applications or DBMS server.

Security functions in the BIOS Setup protect the data on the server blade from unauthorized changes.

The server blade occupies 2 bays one upon the other in the BX900 S1 system unit.
