The channelized T3 trunk card meets the United States requirements for T3 support as specified in FCC Part 68 standards.

FCC Rules, Part 68

1. FCC Part 68 Registration

The Cisco AS5400, Cisco AS5400HPX, and Cisco AS5400XM systems comply with FCC Rules, Part 68. On the cover of this equipment is a label that contains, among other information, the FCC Part 68 registration number.

2. Service

In the event of equipment malfunction, all repairs should be performed by Cisco Systems or an authorized agent. It is the responsibility of users requiring service to report the need for service to Cisco Systems or to one of our authorized agents.

The telephone company can ask you to disconnect the equipment from the network until the problem is corrected or until you are sure that the equipment is not malfunctioning.

3. Facility Interface Information

In order to connect registered terminal equipment to the telephone company lines, the terminal equipment must utilize FCC registered jacks. Standardized jacks are used for this equipment. Table 2 contains Digital Interface Code (DIC), Service Order Code (SOC), and network information for the equipment.
