Appendix B Error Messages

Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-301: Export data error: Table not instantiated.

Recommended Action You cannot export data before the table is fully open. Wait until the table opens fully; then, click the Export tool.

Error Message EID-302: Export data: Error in opening file filename to export data.

Recommended Action The file could not be opened for writing the data. This could be due to insufficient permission in the selected directory. Choose a directory with write permission or change the permission to allow writing data in the selected directory.

Error Message EID-303: Resync Time (1530x only): Value should be in the range 30 to 2147483647.

Recommended Action Enter a value from 30 to 2147483647.

Error Message EID-304: Enter a filename for export.

Recommended Action Enter a filename for the exported file.

Error Message EID-305: File filename already exists. Do you want to overwrite it?

Recommended Action The file that you have provided already exists. Verify that you want to overwrite the file before clicking OK.

Error Message EID-306: Cannot write to filename. Check if you have sufficient disk space and permissions to write. Check if another application is using the file.

Recommended Action Change the permission on the specified file or choose a different filename. If there is insufficient disk space, delete some files to make space on the disk.

Error Message EID-307: Filename: Path does not exist or there is no write permission. Verify that the path to the file exists and you have write permission.

Recommended Action A directory that is part of the path that you specified to the file does not exist or has no permissions to read or write. Create the directory structure to store the file with read/write permissions; then, specify the path. Or, specify a valid path.

Error Message 308: Directory_name is a directory. Enter a filename.

Recommended Action Enter a filename instead of a directory name.
