Making an RCP comm cable
Use the following guidelines to make an RCP cable:
•At one end, attach a female
•At the other end, attach a male
•Connect pins straight through.
•Use at least 18 gauge wire paired with 20 gauge wire for power (pin 1), 18 gauge wire paired with 20 gauge wire for ground (pin 4), and 20 gauge
•The cable can be up to 1000 feet (304.8 meters) long.
•Power is supplied by the SGS 408.
