Driver Floppy Disk 2 (Installed Operating System)

Perform the following steps to create a driver floppy disk for installing a new or upgrading an older version of the qla2x00 driver on an already installed Red Hat Linux 6.2 or 7.0 operating system:

1.Download the qla2x00-x.xx-xx.i386.rpm file from the QLogic Web site.

2.If What would you like to do with this file? displays, select Save this file to disk.

3.Insert a blank floppy disk.

4.Download the file to the floppy disk.

Source Code Driver Floppy Disk

Perform the following steps to create a qla2x00 or qla2300 driver floppy disk that contains the source code. This floppy disk can be created for use on Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2.

1.Download the qla2x00src-vx.xx.tgz file from the QLogic Web site.

2.If What would you like to do with this file? displays, select Save this file to disk.

3.Insert a blank floppy disk.

4.Download the file to the floppy disk.
