About HotWire Model 7924 Termination Units

HotWire Model 7924 standalone units are also ideal for delivering T1 services from a central site to the customer premises over long loop distances without repeaters.

Figure 1-2shows a central-site application with a HotWire 7900 Nest containing HotWire Model 7924 nest cards. The nest cards at the central site each terminate a single HDSL subscriber line. Each line is then converted to a DSX-1 interface for connection to other central office equipment, such as a digital cross-connect system (DCS).
