DynamicBlack: Select DynamicBlack from the Advanced menu to enable (On) or disable (Off) the DynamicBlack actuator in the optical engine. DynamicBlack uses a dynamic iris that modulates light to the DMD based on the actual content of the video material. Planar recommends that you disable DynamicBlack before adjusting Brightness, Contrast or other image settings.
Adaptive Contrast: Adaptive Contrast enhancement expands the light and dark portions of an output image according to the mean luminance of the input image.
RGB Adjust: To remove any trace of color from the white areas of the projected image, choose RGB Adjust from the Advanced menu and press ENTER. This displays the RGB Adjust

•Gain: Use the Gain controls to correct color imbalances in the bright areas of the image. A good way to do this is to use a test pattern consisting mostly of solid white areas, such as an 80 IRE “window” pattern. If the white areas contain traces of red, green or blue, decrease the Gain for that color.
