9.6.6.2DNS Server

On the Configuration > DNS > Server page you can disable/enable the DNS Server function. If you have established settings before, the page will show a table containing all current DNS clients created.

To disable/enable the DNS Server, select the appropriate radio button and click the Apply button.

By adding a name to your LAN clients you can reach them by using names instead of IP addresses. To create a new hostname entry click the Create a new DNS hostname entry manually button and the following page appears:

Enter the Hostname and IP Address of the DNS client and click the Apply button.
