CAUTIONS and NOTES
•When installing a screen, use a 4 : 3

•The diagonal length of a 16 : 9
•If sunlight or lamp light strikes the projection screen directly, the picture tends to become whitish and dim. Be sure to use a curtain, etc. to shield the light.
•Trapezoidal distortion may not be corrected. Set the projector horizontally on a surface that is within the range of adjustable angles (up/down adjustment angle: +7° ; horizontal adjustment angle: ±1.5°).
•The values listed in table “Relationship between Projection Distances and Screen Sizes” are provided only as a guide (reference). The projected screen size may vary depending on the manufacturing tolerance of the projection lens.
•When hanging the from the ceiling, use a dedicated hanging fixture.
Setting the Amount of Lens Shifting
This projector features a lens shifting function which allows you to shift the projection screen up and down in position. Depending on installation conditions (such as dual stacking), you may need to use this function to make adjustments.
Notes
•The amount of shifting is within the range of approx. 30% to 55%. The factory setting is 50%.
•After finishing the lens shift setting (adjustment), tighten the SHIFT LOCK fixing bolt firmly so the lens will not move.

2 Rotate the LENS SHIFT knob to ad- just the position (shift amount) of the projection screen.
Rotate it to the right: The lens shifts upward.
Rotate it to the left: The lens shifts downward.
