Advanced use

Call status - BRI

Comprehensive information about the call progress is available through the Call Status window.

This window indicates the various states each B-channel transitions through whilst establishing a connection. Each channel will transition through the following states:

Status - BRI

Status - PRI

Comments

Idle

 

 

the channel is idle

Calling

Call

when calling — the network has acknowledged the call

Connected

Conn

when connection is established

Sync

Sync

when the channels are synchronised

Active

Act

when all available channels are connected

Releasing

Rlng

waiting for the network to confirm a release of the call

Released

Rel

when disconnected - the network has acknowledged the disconnection

The numbers used to call out to the remote site are shown in the window. If an error occurs a cause code will be displayed on the right hand side of the window.
