4-4 Security Settings
The AMI BIOS provides a Supervisor and a User password. If you use both pass- words, the Supervisor password must be set first.
Supervisor Password
This item indicates if a Supervisor password has been entered for the system. "Not Installed" means a Supervisor password has not been used.
User Password
This item indicates if a user password has been entered for the system. "Not In- stalled" means that a user password has not been used.
Change Supervisor Password
Select this feature and press <Enter> to access the submenu, and then enter a new Supervisor Password.
User Access Level (Available when Supervisor Password is set as above)
Use this feature to set the user's access level. Select Full Access to grant full User read and write access to the Setup Utility. Select View Only to allow the user to access to the Setup Utility without making changes. Select Limited to allow the user to change limited fields such as Date and Time. Select No Access to prevent the user from accessing the Setup Utility.
