Watch Dog Enable/Disable

Watch Dog is a system monitor that can re- boot the system when a software application hangs. Close pins 1-2 to reset the system if an application hangs. Close pins 2-3 to generate

anon-maskable interrupt signal for the appli- cation that hangs. See the table on the right for jumper settings. Watch Dog must also be enabled in the BIOS. (Note: When enabled, the user needs to write his/her own applica- tion software to disable the WD Timer.)

IEEE 1394a Enable

JP11 allows the user to use the onboard IEEE 1394_1 and 1394_2 connections. Close Pins 1 and 2 of this jumper to use this feature. See the table on the right for jumper settings. The default setting is Enabled.
