Serial Ports
One serial port is included on the

serverboard. The COM port is located beside the VGA port. See the table on the right for pin definitions.

SGPIO Header
An SGPIO (Serial General Purpose
SGPIO Header Pin Definitions
(SGPIO)
Input/Output) header is included on the serverboard. This header is used to communicate with the System Monitor- ing chip on the backplane to monitor SATA activity. See the table on the right for pin definitions.

I2C Power Connector
This header is for I2C, which may be used to monitor the status of the power supply, fan and system temperature. See the table on the right for pin definitions.
LAN1/2 (Ethernet Ports)
Two gigabit Ethernet ports (designated LAN1 and LAN2) are located beside the VGA port on the I/O backplane. These ports accept RJ45 type cables.
