Using fiber optic cable, the 1000BASE-SX port can be connected to a remote site up to 550 m (1805 ft.) away. The 1000BASE-SX Gigabit module operates at 1 Gbps, with support for full-duplex mode and flow control. This module is fitted with an SC connector, but you can attach an ST plug to the switch using the SC-ST Converter (Part Number: 99-012034-091).

Power Supply Receptacle

The power receptacle is located on the rear panel of the switch. The standard power receptacle is for the AC power cord.
