One-drive only. Use this configuration if there are no other drives attached to the hard disc controller.

Master with slave present. Use this configuration if the drive is the first of two drives in your system. The master drive is Drive 0 in the System Setup record.

Slave. Use this configuration if the drive is the second drive in the system. The slave is Drive 1 in the System Setup record.
