3.12 Upgrading Cache Memory

The S1572's 512kb of on-board pipelined burst SRAM and cannot be field upgraded. The TX chipset can cache a maximium of 64MB of RAM.

3.13 Peripheral Device Installation

After all the jumpers on the mainboard have been set, then it can be mounted into the case. Proceed to install the display card and any other peripheral devices.

If a PCI-Bus interface card is to be installed in the system, any one of the five PCI-Bus slots can support either a Master or a Slave device.

After installing the peripheral controllers, the user should check everything again, and prepare to power on the system.
